Andrew and Lavanya Yelchuri serve the Jewish people (Israeli backpackers) in Goa, India,
and Chicago, USA. More than twenty years ago, they were called to serve the Jewish people
through Ezekiel chapter 2. Their journey to YWAM in India and among the Jewish people in
Ukraine prepared them for the work ahead.
Andrew is the son of a pastor in India, and Lavanya comes from an unbelieving background.
They were led to serve the Israeli backpackers in Goa in 2009. Goa draws thousands of young
Israelis every year. For fourteen years, they have witnessed to many Israelis through Mika Mocha café, a messianic outreach center, and have imparted God's heart for Israel to many
pastors and leaders in India.
They recently served for some time among the Jewish people in
Brooklyn, New York, and are currently serving in Chicago, Illinois, besides directing the work in
Goa, India. They serve as the India Directors for Chosen People Ministries.
